【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthemeltingpoint(coolingcurve)ofpetroleumwax.Itisunsuitableforwaxesofthepetrolatumgroup,microcrystallinewaxes,orblendsofsuchwaxeswithparaffinwaxorscalewax.Note1Foradditionalmethodsusedfortestingpetroleumwaxes,seeTestMethodD127andTestMethodD938.Resultsmaydiffer,dependingonthemethodused.Forpharmaceuticalpetrolatum,TestMethodD127usuallyisused.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
