【摘要】:1ThisInternationalStandardisoneofaseriesofstandardsdealingwiththesamplingandtestingofpaints,varnishesandrelatedproducts.Itspecifiesamethodfordeterminingthefilmhardnessbypushingpencilsofknownhardnessoverthefilm.Thetestcanbeperformedonasinglecoatingofapaint,varnishorrelatedproduct,orontheupperlayerofamulticoatsystem.2Thisrapid,inexpensivetesthasbeenfoundtobeusefulincomparingthepencilhardnessofdifferentcoatings.Itismoreusefulinprovidingrelativeratingsforaseriesofcoatedpanelsexhibitingsignificantdifferencesinpencilhardness.Themethodisapplicableonlytosmoothsurfaces.

【摘要】:Anappropriatelydeveloped,documented,andexecutedguideisessentialforthepropercollectionandapplicationofneutronlogs.ThisguideistobeusedinconjunctionwithStandardGuideD5753.Thebenefitsofitsuseincludeimprovingselectionofneutronloggingmethodsandequipment;neutronlogqualityandreliability;usefulnessoftheneutronlogdataforsubsequentdisplayandinterpretation.Thisguideappliestocommonlyusedneutronloggingmethodsforgeotechnicalapplications.Itisessentialthatpersonnel(seeSection8.3.2,StandardGuideD5753)consultup-to-datetextbooksandreportsontheneutrontechnique,application,andinterpretationmethods.1.1Thisguideisfocusedonthegeneralproceduresnecessarytoconductneutronorneutronporosity(hereafterreferredtoasneutron)loggingofboreholes,wells,accesstubes,caissons,orshafts(hereafterreferredtoasboreholes)ascommonlyappliedtogeologic,engineering,ground-waterandenvironmental(hereafterreferredtoasgeotechnical)investigations.Neutronsoilmoisturemeasurementsmadeusingneutronmoisturegauges,areexcluded.Neutronloggingformineralsorpetroleumapplicationsisexcluded,alongwithneutronactivationlogswheregammaspectraldetectorsareusedtocharacterizetheinducedgammaactivityofmineralsexposedtoneutronradiation.1.2Thisguidedefinesaneutronlogasarecordoftherateatwhichthermalandepithermalneutronsarescatteredbacktooneormoredetectorslocatedonaprobeadjacenttoaneutronsource.1.2.1Inductionlogsaretreatedquantitativelyandshouldbeinterpretedwithotherlogsanddatawheneverpossible.1.2.2Neutronlogsarecommonlyusedto:(1)delineatelithology,and(2)indicatethewater-filledporosityofformations(seeFig.1).1.3Thisguideisrestrictedtoneutronloggingwithnuclearcountersconsistingofscintillationdetectors(crystalscoupledwithphotomultipliertubes),ortoHe3-tubedetectorswithorwithoutCdfoilcoversorcoatingstoexcludethermalizedneutrons.1.4Thisguideprovidesanoverviewofneutronloggingincluding:(1)generalprocedures;(2)specificdocumentation;(3)calibrationandstandardization,and(4)logqualityandinterpretation.1.5ToobtainadditionalinformationonneutronlogsseeReferencessectioninthisguide.1.6ThisguideistobeusedinconjunctionwithStandardGuideD5753.1.7Thisguideoffersanorganizedcollectionofinformationoraseriesofoptionsanddoesnotrecommendaspecificcourseofaction.Thisguideshouldnotbeusedasasolecriterionforneutronlogginganddoesnotreplaceeducation,experience,andprofessionaljudgment.Neutronloggingproceduresshouldbeadaptedtomeettheneedsofarangeofapplicationsandstatedingeneraltermssothatflexibilityorinnovationarenotsuppressed.Notallaspectsofthisguidemaybeapplicableinallcircumstances.ThisASTMstandardisnotintendedtorepresentorreplacethestandardofcarebywhichtheadequacyofagivenprofessionalservicemustbejudgedwithoutconsiderationofaproject''smanyuniqueaspects.ThewordstandardinthetitleofthisdocumentmeansthatthedocumenthasbeenapprovedthroughtheASTMconsensusprocess.1.8ThegeotechnicalindustryusesEnglishorSIunits.Theneutronlogistypicallyrecordedinunitsofcountspersecond(cps)orinpercentporosity.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatoryrequirementspriortouse.Theuseofradioactivesourcesin......
