【摘要】:1.1Thisguidecoversaproceduretoassistownersandoperatorsofcommercialandinstitutionalbuildingsinthestewardshipofcleaningandhousekeepingoperations.Thefocusofthisguideistoaddressappropriatecleaningactivitiesandprocesses,topromoteeco-efficiencyandsustainability,andtoavoidadverseimpactsonthebuildingoccupants,cleaningpersonnel,thebuildingstructureitself,andtheenvironment.Adherencetotheprinciplessetforthinthisguidecanleadtogreatertenant/occupantsatisfaction,reducedoperationalcostsandgreaterproductivity(ofoccupantsandcleaningpersonnel).1.2Thisguidewillfocusonthedevelopmentofastewardshipplanandwillincludetheassessmentofcleaningprocesses,productselection,storage,usage,disposal,equipment,trainingofcleaningpersonnelandcommunicationthroughoutthechain-of-commerce.1.3Thisguideaddressesissuesrelatingtotheoperationandmaintenanceoftheheating,ventilatingandairconditioning(HVAC)systemswhichcanhaveamajorimpactonindoorairquality(IAQ)onlytotheextentthattheHVACsystemprovidesadequateventilationtolowerrisktocleaningpersonnel,buildingoccupantsandtheenvironmentduringorasaresultofthecleaningprocess.1.4Thisguideisforuseinabuildingthatismaintainedbyeitherin-housecleaningpersonneloranoutsidecleaningcontractor.1.5Thisguideisnotintendedforconstructionrelatedactivities,butmaybeappropriateforpostconstructionclean-up.1.6Thisguideisnotintendedasaproceduralguideforcleaningpersonnel.1.7Thisguideisnotintendedforuseinresidentialbuildings.1.8Thisguideoffersanorganizedcollectionofinformationoraseriesofoptionsanddoesnotrecommendaspecificcourseofaction.Thisdocumentcannotreplaceeducationorexperienceandshouldbeusedinconjunctionwithprofessionaljudgment.Notallaspectsofthisguidemaybeapplicableinallcircumstances.ThisASTMstandardisnotintendedtorepresentorreplacethestandardofcarebywhichtheadequacyofagivenprofessionalservicemustbejudged,norshouldthisdocumentbeappliedwithoutconsiderationofaprojectsmanyuniqueaspects.Theword"Standard"inthetitleofthisdocumentmeansonlythatthedocumenthasbeenapprovedthroughtheASTMconsensusprocess.1.9Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
