【摘要】:Thepurposeofthisdocumentistodefineasetofreferencemassesthatcanbeusedasacommonstartingpointforspecifyingtherequirementsforthedesign,testing,deliveryacceptance,markingandoperationofrailvehicles.ItisnottheintentionofthisEuropeanStandardtochangethedimensioningofvehiclesystemcomponentsbythedefinitionofthesecommonreferencemasses.However,whentherelevantstandardsarerevisedornewonesdeveloped,themassestobeusedinthesevehiclesystemcomponentstandardsasthebasisforthedesignshouldbeexpressedasafunctionofthereferencemassstatesdefinedinthisstandard.Untilthestandardsarechangedtheexistingcriteriacontinuetoapply.ThisdocumentcoversalltypesofrailvehiclesForthepurposeofvehiclemassdefinitionsrollingstockisdividedintothreevehiclegroupswhichare--highspeedandotherlongdistancetrains--passengervehiclesotherthanhighspeedandlongdistancetrains,includingmetroandtramway--freightvehicles(wagonsandfreightmotoredunits)LocomotivesaretreatedaspassengervehicleswithoutpayloadThespecificationofthetechnicalrequirementsoftherailwayvehicleshouldcontaintheinformationtowhichvehiclegroupitbelongs.NOTE"Longdistance"includesallpassengertrainsnotintendedtobeusedoncommuterandsuburbanservices.Inthisstandard,commuterisunderstoodas:fortheFrenchnetwork:RER;fortheGermannetwork:S-Bahn.ThemassesdefinedinthisEuropeanStandardareasfollows(seeClause2)a)deadmass;b)designmass1)designmass,inworkingorder2)designmassundernormalpayload3)designmassunderexceptionalpayloadc)operationalmass1)operationalmass,inworkingorder;2)operationalmassundernormalpayloadThesemassesaredefinedwithrespecttothewholevehiclebuttheycanalsoapplytoaspecificsystemorcomponent.
